We are an organization that has come up with an innovative way to get High School students to do school work in a fun way using todays technology.

Our plan is simple: provide every ninth-grader a HP/Google Chromebook, registration in a Google Technology class, and prepare for the all the life-changing events to happen.

HP GOOGLE SCHOOL CONGRATULATES TLCCS ON FIRST IN THE NATION GOOGLE TECHNOLOGY CLASS

Albuquerque, NM. June 30,2013  —  HP Google School, in association with The Learning Community Charter School (LINK), will pilot a first of its kind Internet technology class. As the name implies, they've got some pretty heavy hitters in their experiment in improving education: Hewlett-Packard and Google.

"We are very excited with this partnership between schools and business," said Tom Mitchell, the head of HP Google School. "We're also lucky to be working with such an awesome school," he said.

Joe Maness, the the teacher responsible for conducting the Google class at the school, was very upbeat and optimistic. "We are very excited, and along with Mitch, I wish us all good luck in this daunting adventure," he said.

When asked how this business/school association would work, Mitchell responded, "9th grade students will be handed HP Chromebooks and learn how to responsibly take care of it and use the free software tools to make school more intellectually stimulating and fun. I mean, what could go wrong with that?"

Maness agreed, and added "The students will build free websites to show off their school work. After four years of this, they will have essentially created a web-based portfolio that would be impressive to any potential employer."

The HP Google School is a company that is tasked with creating a realistic plan to deal with student learning and growth by utilizing 21st Century technology.
